The closing event of the project

Since 2011 the Nature Conservation agency has implemented the project "Forest habitat restoration within the Gauja National Park", and in 30 March 2016 the closing event of the project was organised in Ungurmuiza where project team and experts looked back at the progress made and the activities carried out in the Gauja National Park.

Ungurmuiza as the project final seminar venue was not chosen at random, as the Manor Park is one of the project areas. The park is the largest hermit beetle habitat in the Gauja National Park.

During the seminar project coordinator Kristine Cinate presented information about the implemented activities and the results achieved. Remote sensing data and the results of the monitoring were presented by Gatis Eriņš. Information on habitat inventory results in the Gauja National Park were presented by Viesturs Larmanis. Short films created in the project were presented by Ieva Goba.
